RAINN is an important tool in the middle or high school educator’s toolbox. RAINN is the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network. According to its website, RAINN “is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization and was named one of ‘America's 100 Best Charities’ by Worth magazine” (RAINN.org). The website provides help for victims of sexual violence including a national sexual assault hotline, an online hotline, and access to local counseling centers. In addition to this, the website also provides a wide variety of information regarding sexual assault, including statistics, steps in reporting sexual crimes, and ways to prevent and identify sexual assault.
